The Tramontana Sierra in the Balearic Islands goes from north to south through the whole westerd side of Mallorca. Puig Major measures 1445 meters in altitude at it´s highest point. There are other peaks on this mountain like Puig de Massanella measuring 1.364 meters and Puig Tomir with a height of 1.102 meters.
Andratx, Valdemosa, Soller and Pollenca are other municipalities that are on the sides of the Sierra. |
